What's Happening at St Michael's this week?

*Christmas is almost here and we hope your preparations, both spiritual and practical, are well under way.

Bible Reading Group 10-11.30am - inchurch and online via this link. Reading and discussing passages from the Bible.
Youth Club Our Youth Club** is for 10-15 yr olds - Tuesday evenings in the Centre 5.30-7.00pm. Contact Hansol for more information. This is the last Youth Club gathering this year. We start back on January 7 2025.

WEDNESDAY 18 DECEMBER
Alphabeats 9.30-11am. Our parent/carer, 0-5 years singing and playgroup gathering in Church with lots of toys and tea! Contact Sue for more information.
Wednesday Book Club 12 noon - 1pm in the Vicarage. We are reading this wonderfully challenging book "The City is my Monastery" by Richard Carter. You can find out more about the book in this short video here. The next gathering of the Book Club will be on Wednesday 8 January 2025

THURSDAY 19 DECEMBER
CAFÉ@St Michael's 10am-12noon in Church. Pop in for coffee (or tea!), a catch-up with friends and lots of yummy cake. The Cafe will be closed today and will re-open on Thursday 9 January 2025

Carols by Candlelight Service 6pm in Church, followed by mulled wine & mince pies in the Centre

TUESDAY 24 DECEMBER - CHRISTMAS EVE
Children's Christmas Service 3.30pm in Church. Dress up, sing carols & hear the Christmas story
Midnight Communion 11.00pm in Church

WEDNESDAY 25 DECEMBER - CHRISTMAS DAY
10.30am - Family Communion Service with St Michael's Choir & Band. Children bring one of their gifts to “show & tell”
