WILD CHISWICK: A talk on wildlife rescue centres
Have you ever wondered what goes on at a wildlife rescue centre once a sick or injured animal is brought in? Pauline Kidner has dedicated nearly 30 years of her life to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of British wildlife. She founded SecretWorld in Somerset after rescuing and rearing young badgers beside the fireplace in her farmhouse kitchen. Since then she has given over her time, house and land to the recovery of sick or injured wildlife.
On 7 September Pauline gave a talk at Church about her work and explained how animals go from reception to release. She answered questions on what to do if you find an injured or sick wild animal.
